This film is a day by day, moment to moment record of one year as seen from Mount Battie, Maine. It is a record of the seasons. It is a record of the changing light from dawn to evening, the changing weather from rain and snow to sunlight and overcast skies, and the changing visitors that make a pilgrimage to a mountain vista that overlooks a small harbor, the Atlantic coastal iislands, and the expansive Atlantic Ocean. It is not a story, no script, no actors and no dialogue. Yet it conveys a story, human beings recognizing their place on earth.
