- Callum2025年12月21日⭐⭐⭐½ – All American Bikini Car Wash — Watchable, Disposable, and Exactly What It Says on the Tin All American Bikini Car Wash feels very much like an attempt for some adult-industry actors to step into something a little more mainstream. The cast is largely made up of unknowns or familiar faces if you’ve dipped into this particular corner of cinema before — with the usual collection of eye-candy performers doing most of the heavy lifting. Mindy Robinson, who always strikes me as emblematic of this mid-2010s wave of films, pops up again here and fits right in. I’ve seen a lot of movies in this broad “teen sex / eye-candy comedy” category, and most of them are bad. Some are atrocious. Some manage to insult things I would already rate as atrocious. So when I say this one is watchable and not half bad, that’s actually fairly high praise by comparison. In that context, calling it “Shakespeare” would be wildly inaccurate — but next to many of its peers, it almost feels respectable. The plot barely matters, and that’s fine. You’re not here for deep character arcs or clever storytelling. This is the kind of film you put on, enjoy the views, half-pay attention, and don’t stress about recognising the actors or following every beat. It works well enough as a one-time watch, and even better as background noise while doing chores. Would I seek it out again? Probably not. But as a lightweight, low-expectation diversion, it does its job without embarrassing itself — which, for this genre, is saying something. 🥤 Pairing: A cold beer you open out of mild curiosity — refreshing enough in the moment, but not something you’ll be thinking about tomorrow.
