In a small southern resort town, a car crash destroyed the warehouse manager of a local engineering plant. A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver was drunk and lost control of the vehicle. But something about the case was alarming and unrelated, and the city's own prosecutor took it up. It was discovered that the driver was indeed not behind the wheel at the time of the accident, which led to the tragedy. The investigation begins with an inspection of both the plant itself and the associated souvenir factory. It soon becomes clear that the mafia is indeed involved, and they are prepared to use any means necessary to retaliate, from simple blackmail to even using the prosecutor himself to compromise.
