This is both a courtroom drama AND on location visit to GITMO US Territory on the coast of Cuba. I am a Navy Vet serving 30 years before this film. A 1963 Chevy 4 Dr hard top was mine then and for Cruise 2000. Cross examination of Jessup leads to the famous line : YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH. This movie is NOT for popcorn but is for whiskey and cigars.

The serious drama cuts the air with wit and intelligence yet does not miss the cues for perfectly timed banter. This all-star cast puts on display a league of the best the artform has to offer from the era. A well deserved nominee of 4 Oscars among many others. 8.3/10
