3:10 to Yuma
Directed by James Mangold- ርልዪረJanuary 27, 2025Action from the beginning. Two great actors in the prime roles and kept you wondering just what would happen next. One of the best endings to a film I have seen for a for a while I am so glad I bought and watched it. It will now go among my classic cowboy films and watched again. Great film.▄︻デ══━一💥
- CravanThePugilistApril 14, 2026idk... I'm kinda ashamed to say I don't really like Westerns... & I don't really remember much of this movie, as I only saw it once, years ago... but I do remember absolutely loving it, easily my favourite Western. Due for a rewatch & hopefully slightly better review this year!
- Vincent ReggianniniJune 4, 2025This is an interesting Western, in a world flooded with technology and special effects this movie is a throw-back to when a good script, good writing and charismatic stars held your attention. Christian Bale is admirable as a sad sack Civil War hero”left-over” who has been trampled by life, and back luck. Given a chance to prove his worth to himself and his rebellious son Bale’s character promises to take a newly arrested Russel Crowe to a train that will carry him to jail. Crowe is dynamic, threatening and spell-binding as the main “black hat”. His performance carries the film and cements this as one of the best Westerns in the last 15 years.
- Morphentropic SkelAugust 27, 2025Excellent performances from everyone, especially Russell Crowe. Unfortunately, not long into the film I couldn't understand the motivations of the majority of the characters. Bizarre decisions were made nonstop, allegiances changed without reason, highly regarded individuals unquestioningly trusting people that were trying to kill them literally seconds before. I don't think I regret watching the film, but I certainly won't watch it again and I wish I'd never watched it this time too.
