28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
Directed by Nia DaCosta- old_computerFebruary 22, 2026This is a disgrace to the original. It's so disconnected from anything that made the Danny Boyle og so good. It tries so hard to be something it's not and loses focus and feels generic. I guess if you enjoy Marvel movies and scrolling on TikTok, this is perfect. Just an awful stupid movie.
- ርልዪረFebruary 17, 2026☣️🦠💀28 Years Later: Bone Temple was a really pleasant surprise and honestly, way better than the last installment. It delivers exactly the kind of brutal intensity you'd expect, but what caught me off guard was how funny it is. The humor actually lands and gives the film a sharp, self-aware edge without undercutting the horror. The pacing feels confident, the violence is unapologetic, and there's a clear sense that the filmmakers knew what kind of movie they wanted to make. It never drags, and it never takes itself too seriously. So far, this is the best movie I've seen this year. A genuinely good watch, and an easy recommendation if you're into dark, bloody, and surprisingly clever horror.
- Doc WormFebruary 5, 2026There’s a genuine argument to be made that 28 years didn’t need The Bone Temple or the bookends in the first that sets up this sequel. However, the film quickly makes a case for why that argument should be dismissed. While it’s not quite as heady as its predecessor, it still meditates on themes of empathy, humanity and British politics. Ralph Fiennes and now Jack O Connell give phenomenal performances. Here’s hoping there is payoff for the setup at the ending of Bone Temple because I’m ready for whatever is thrown as next in one of cinemas most fascinating and compelling franchises.
- Karin e BorisMay 8, 2026I admit that I was about to turn off the TV when "The Number of the Beast" started. But I have to say I was wrong. The film is absolutely enjoyable and worth seeing. Ok, maybe they could have avoided some unnecessarily disturbing scenes, but overall it proceeds in a fairly fluid way, even if a little predictable at times.
- Kevin WardJanuary 13, 2026Loved it. Some gruesome blood and gore, predominantly at the hands of the Jimmy’s and not the zombie, though there is some of that too. Ralph Fiennes f😍king goes all out in this. And I’m not talking about 🍆. Well, I’m not only talking about that. Wildly singing and dancing and getting high with his Zom-bro. Again, lost of ideas packed into it thematically. Nia Decosta brings some her signature style to the franchise. Can usually count on a few upside down shots from her. I liked where this all ended up and I am reallllly hoping the next one is greenlit, like, soon, because this 1000% feels like the second part of a trilogy.
- SirMonkalotMarch 1, 2026I loved everything about this, I think it may be the best middle movie in a trilogy ever. The performances were spectacular across the board but obviously, Ralph Fiennes KILLS it! I want a movie of just him building the bone temple and talking to anyone passing by. Nothing else needs to happen, just conversations and building. He is delightful and may be one of my favourite fictional characters ever. The way that they are approaching this zombie story is such a breath of fresh air. I find it so original and a better take on the subject matter. Zombies have been done to death so having something different is a nice change. I haven’t been this excited for a trilogy in a LONG time! Hopefully the third one knocks it out of the park!
