- carmen.s29March 12, 2026I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie. It didn't disappoint; it was funny without being dumbed down. Bonus nod to the OG TV show was pretty cool too. Overall, it was a fun watch with a throwback plot and good acting. The tempo of the movie made it easy to stay engaged with the story line.
- wonderrxjrOctober 13, 2025I love how I've never seen 21 but I've seen 22 I think that's funny. God this is so GOOD! Love Phil Lord and Chris Miller so much and this is straight Gas. Jonah and Channing have such insane chemistry together it's hard not to laugh when they do anything. I like how Jonah kept falling for a Brie Larson who is supposed to be in high school btw ! I also love how the drug dealers are super woke that both does and doesn't track for those characterizations
- CallumNovember 6, 2025⭐⭐⭐½ – 21 Jump Street – Back to School, With Bullets and Banter 21 Jump Street takes the premise of the old TV series — cops going undercover in high school — and gleefully turns it inside out. It’s loud, self-aware, and never afraid to make fun of itself, a buddy-cop comedy that leans more on chaos and chemistry than logic. Channing Tatum surprises here, swapping his usual tough-guy or dancer persona for a role that lets him poke fun at both. He’s not a natural comedian, but he plays the straight man well enough to make Jonah Hill’s neurotic energy land. Hill, meanwhile, does what he does best — quick-fire humour with just enough sincerity to keep the story from collapsing into nonsense. The film’s strength lies in how aware it is of its own absurdity. It doesn’t try to be a serious reboot; it’s more like a parody with a decent heart. The action scenes hit the right mix of ridiculous and fun, and while it’s not a movie you’ll rush to rewatch, it earns its laughs honestly. It does make you wonder how the original show compares — was it this wild, or did the reboot simply run off the rails for entertainment’s sake? Either way, this version stands as a solid, slightly unhinged comedy with enough personality to justify its revival. 🥤 Pairing: A can of energy drink — fizzy, fast, and fun for a while, but you probably won’t reach for another straight away.
