The second half of this movie is far better than the first half. Overall its fun for the kids but not as rewatchable as some of the others in the franchise.
I absolutely love this movie but what I don’t really get is that the whole idea seems to depend on a sorta “loop”. At least I think? Like the future humans place the wormhole or blackhole in space to help save humanity. But for those future humans to exist in the first place, humanity had to survive without their help. If humanity only survives because of the wormhole, then where did the future humans come from?
I’m just confused about why Beth doesn’t have more money. In Yellowstone, she was basically a corporate assassin, and if I remember correctly, she made millions of dollars during the first couple of seasons.
Also, why wouldn’t they have insurance on their house and property in Montana? That part always seemed strange to me. I have insurance on my relatively small home, so it’s hard to understand how character with that much land and wealth could suddenly be portrayed as broke. What am i missing?
