- Matthew DiPietro2025年1月22日Love the setting and premise. Casting is awesome. But the characters feel a little one-dimensional. As the season progressed, I cared a little less. I also don't buy the father-son relationship angle. That feels really stale.

We binge watched all seven episodes and I thought it was over then I was angry that it would end like that but then I was angry that I had to wait for three more episodes LOL. I'm glad to hear there's a season two in the works. The show is incredible!
- attilahliva2025年4月4日Absolutely powerful series. The dramaturgy is almost perfect, every scene carries weight. Billy Bob Thornton is phenomenal, but the supporting cast is outstanding too. I enjoyed every minute – I haven’t seen something this intense in a long time. The visuals and music perfectly support the atmosphere. The characters are deep and authentic – which is rare these days. Each episode leaves something behind. From now on, Billy Bob Thornton is among the greatest for me.

The series does a good job with the drama and intrigue that goes on with the oil business and Thornton brings along his likability and polarizing charm. Along for the ride is the ageless beauty Ali Larter who plays Thornton’s crazy ex-wife, Jon Hamm who plays Thornton’ tough as nails boss, and the always sensational Demi Moore.
