The idea of the series was good, with better actors, characters and a bit more of a serious approach, this could've actually worked. Instead you get the typical and burned out small jokes tossed in between compromising or dangerous scenarios, CIA agents who look like they were pulled out of a fast food restaurant and subtle progressive garbage. The good? For starters, Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in it. Second, action scenes aren't bad and storyline is entertaining enough to keep you watching it (considering there are only 8 episodes). If you dive in thinking you will watch something similar to Stallone's Tulsa King, you will be disappointed.
- Bahumbaba2025年10月16日Honestly, FUBAR is worth watching only for Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s still got that classic mix of charm, sarcasm, and action-hero presence that makes even the goofier moments fun. It’s great seeing him lean into a more comedic, self-aware role — he carries the show pretty much on his shoulders. That said, the show itself is kind of hit or miss. The writing jumps around between being a spy thriller and a family sitcom, and it doesn’t always blend smoothly. Some of the jokes feel forced or outdated, and the story is super predictable at times. The supporting cast is forgettable, and most of them don’t get enough to do. FUBAR is light, easy to watch, and good for a few laughs — just don’t expect anything groundbreaking. Arnold’s performance makes it fun at times, but without him, it’s a very weak show.
