- Dario Tibay2026年6月14日Black Mirror remains one of those rare anthology shows where the unevenness is part of the texture rather than a fatal flaw. You do not go to it for comfort or consistency. You go to it for a clean, nasty premise pushed far enough to reveal the human damage underneath. I became a fan during the Channel 4 years, before Netflix turned it into a global sci-fi brand. Those early episodes still have a special charge. The National Anthem is barely futuristic, which is exactly why it works: the horror is already present in media spectacle, public outrage, and everyone’s willingness to watch. Fifteen Million Merits is a glowing prison of labour and entertainment. The Entire History of You turns memory into a weapon. Season two gives us grief as simulation in Be Right Back, punishment as theatre in White Bear, and accidental political prophecy in The Waldo Moment. The Netflix era widened the show’s range. Sometimes that polish softened the bite, but it also gave us some of the series’ strongest work: Nosedive, San Junipero, USS Callister, Bandersnatch, Loch Henry, Common People, and Eulogy. The show’s best episodes understand that technology is not the villain by itself. People bring the damage. The machines simply scale it, monetise it, remember it, and make it easier to share. What I still admire is the design of its nightmares. The interfaces feel plausible. The systems feel sellable. The dystopias do not arrive with laser guns; they arrive as features, upgrades, subscriptions, ratings, content libraries, and terms you did not read. A few episodes misfire, but the whole thing still matters. Black Mirror gave modern television a language for the moment when everyday life starts to feel designed by someone who has mistaken convenience for morality.

Not a coincidence that the one garbage season filmed/aired during the era where wokology poisoned the febile and corporate minds. What a piece of garbage that was. Other than that tho.. Guess we will see how it goes. S07 seems better already. 9/10↘️6/10 (S06)↗️8/10 (S07)
