- macaronz2026年6月13日This has been one of my favorite films ever since I watched it as a kid, and rewatching it after all these years was an absolute blast. It holds up incredibly well. It’s crazy how modern CGI and VFX look so cheap and fake compared to a classic like this. The practical effects and real environments just hit different.
- Zokkiie2026年4月2日There’s just something about this one that still hits. The buildup is slow in the best way, letting the tension creep in until it suddenly snaps and never lets go. The cast is stacked with personality, the one-liners still land, and that jungle atmosphere feels thick and real. Everything about it feels practical and grounded, which is why it’s aged so well. Simple idea, perfectly executed — still one of the coolest, most rewatchable action movies out there.
- Cole2025年6月11日Absolutely love how this starts as an 80s action war flick then transitions into a horrifying creature feature. The Predator is one of the all time monster designs. I especially like how we don’t see its body or face until the final act. As far as the location, the jungle is an all timer too — along with the Antarctic in The Thing and space for Alien. As an Arnold stan too, he’s just wonderfully charismatic here. Cozy film for me, a true classic in every sense of the word.
- Otacon!2026年2月24日This is the kind of movies that I love. Not for the alien/monster/splatter/action movie, but for the details the cast and the director had made. Every single character (beside crowd artists) are there for a reason and have a good personality, traits and jokes. Every one. And this is why I love this era movies. In those years story and content was all and VFX was in secondary place. Good actions sequence, good sound design, good performances of a cast that has spend years working together in others project and had little things to share off-screen and on-screen. Good one.

Oh man, this scared the shit out of me in 1987 when I saw it at the cinema at age 10. It was so close to a horror, while still remaining an action film. Arnie was on fire in the 80s and could do no wrong. This was the same year The Running Man came out, which is just as good as this. Amazing !!!
