After witnessing his billionaire boss' murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss' death only to discover an international conspiracy.
- pepo722日前Same ol, same ol.
- Dr.Siifo3日前Damn the power of action
- It's cheesy with a laughable plot about avenging a billionaire boss, but the action hits hard. There's some really good fight scenes and a few of the kills are pretty insane. Statham always elevates these offbeat actioners with his charisma and patented Statham Stoicism™. I could see this being somewhat of a cult classic like a few of Steven Seagal's early video hits.
- macaronz2026年8月19日Ever since The Transporter, it feels like many of Statham's movies have followed a similar formula: he's an ex-special forces guy, ex-cop, bodyguard, or some other highly skilled badass who gets caught up in a dangerous situation and spends the rest of the movie beating everyone up. As for Mutiny, some of the action scenes are well done and fun to watch, but there simply isn't enough action to make the film particularly exciting. The story is also pretty generic: he's working as a bodyguard, his billionaire boss gets murdered, and he gets caught up in the aftermath. Then the movie throws in a human-trafficking angle and an international conspiracy to make things more complicated. There was actually a bizarre incident yesterday: Amazon Prime Video accidentally made the entire movie available in the US for roughly an hour on August 19, two days before its scheduled theatrical release. Amazon subsequently removed it. It appears to have been an accidental upload, not an early OTT release. Overall, Mutiny felt pretty average to me. A few solid action moments and Jason Statham's usual presence make it watchable, but the repetitive formula and predictable story keep it from being anything special.

The acting is poor, the story is formulaic, there is nothing to make it stand out. There is one good point however, the run time is just a tad over 90 minutes. So if you want to indulge in some time you will never get back, here's 90 minutes to fill that void.
- Wesley B7日前Exactly what you'd expect from a Statham movie, but one of his better ones.
- AlejandroHenaoWP2026年9月23日It's just you know... Jason being Jason.
- GFlyxAdmin2026年9月15日I think Jason Statham has driving Audis in his contract 🤪
- xxRedCobraxx2026年9月23日A solid action movie. Statham is Statham and I still love this guy. He is so cool and kicks all kind's of ass. One death in particular made me laugh and wince. Brilliant.
