- MR_BigTime1日前I wanted to give Looper 5 stars, but I can't, in good conscience, reward the mess that is the audio balancing. For the most part, dialogue was inaudible without major adjustments. Turning up the volume was not an option, since music and effects were as ridiculously loud as the dialogue was quiet. Other than that, the movie was excellent. From the premise to the worldbuilding and character development to the acting, few films can compete with this one.

The real struggle isn't with time itself, but rather with the self and its choices. The acting is outstanding, especially from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, and the direction is intelligent and understated, making the film more than just an action movie; it's also a thought-provoking experience.

A good yarn that keeps you sucked in well.

- COCO2025年2月11日Been sleeping on this one for way too long and what a huge surprise. I've been meaning to watch Looper for quite sometime now and wasn't disappointed. It's an intelligent, thought provoking film about toxic masculinity, memory, and the nature of reality. Time-travel is a plot device, not a plot line, as the film exceptionally proves through it’s concise story. Joesph-Gordon Levitt proves himself time and again. Emily Blunt is a masterpiece in anything she’s in. Has some traces of the X-Men franchise mixed with Chronicle sprinkled throughout it which surprisingly blends really well.
