監督:Nicolas Winding Refn自動車修理工場で働く寡黙な男性“ドライバー”は、映像業界でカースタントマンをする一方、強盗の逃走を手伝う“逃がし屋”の仕事もしている。ある日から彼は、同じアパートで暮らして幼い息子を育てる人妻アイリーンと距離を縮めるように。彼女の夫スタンダードは刑務所を出所するが、多額の借金を背負わされた彼は、強盗の仕事を強要される。“ドライバー”はアイリーンとその息子のため、強盗計画の“逃がし屋”を引き受ける。

It was a nice surprise this. I probably had this on the back burner just because I was unwilling to take Gosling seriously, but what a brilliant watch.
