A precursor to the philosophical Star Trek that was to follow, and father of sci-fi solidifying it's presence on television for the following 60+ years. A modern audience might find some elements predictable, as many twists and stories have been retold and refined over the decades, however they may also be surprised to find how little mankind has changed socially, and just how many other bits of media in their lives contain direct references and pay homage to episodes. (Looking at you Simpsons & Family Guy fans.) If you wished there was more, I'd advise also checking out "The Outer Limits", a show which in my humble opinion gives Twilight Zone a run for its money.

So good to sleep to
This must be my favorite show. I watch it everyday when i go to bed. There is something that just hit the spot. A good script, filosofical and good acting. It's old so you notice that there is a big focus on storytelling instead cause they did not have special effects to lean on. The episodes are made to make you reflect rather than telling you what to think. And it takes me back to a time when people valued the way to talk and act against eachother. Even when people hated eachother there was someway an underlying respect. I would like to find an other show that hits me the same way. But Tales of the Crypt, Hitchcock, The Outer Limits and other anthalogys dont even get close. The one that i liked best next to it is Nightmare and Dreamscapes (Steven King). But it's like only 8 episodes. I would love to see movies and shows get this much love in the making of a script as The Twighlight Zone!
