John Dorian, conosciuto come JD, è un vero mattacchione. Lui, così come i suoi migliori amici Turk ed Elliot, sta cercando di diventare un bravo dottore, questo grazie anche ai preziosi consigli del Dr. Cox e del Dr. Kelso, i quali spesso si prendono gioco di lui per il suo carattere particolarmente sensibile. Alle sue giornate strampalate si aggiungono l'infermiera Carla, innamorata di Turk, e l'inserviente, il quale non gli dà mai un attimo di pace.

It has a great sense of humor while also tackling real-life situations you’d face in a hospital. I don’t think there’s ever been another show that balances both so perfectly. Definitely worth the watch... and then another.

The “final” season isn’t terrible by any means, it just feels unnecessary compared to how perfectly the show could’ve ended before it. Still, an absolute classic that deserves a watch (or three).
