It feels a little strange to call it this, but I can't help but apply the word "wholesome", even with as many lowbrow fart and sex jokes as there are. This may genuinely be my favorite comedy of all time, usurping the title from Fawlty Towers.
- Christopher16 maggio 2026When I first started watching, I seriously wasn't expecting anything good. And for that reason, it made the whole show better as I wasn't constantly nit picking at it and wondering if they could have done more. I do like the way the writers written the comedy in this show. Not every joke is a chance to drop some celeb's name. Especially Holt's style of comedy, SOO dry, matter of fact, very logical but never in a way to put down his character. God I love it. It does start to go a little down hill (imo) after S5(Especially if you're the type that has to binge watch the entirety of a series, aka, me) but it wasnt enough for me to not enjoy the show. Just meant my guesses were correct more often and made it less entertaining if i can see how they set up the joke and or the ending of the episode early on.
