I never felt Silo's second season consistently understood the difference, stretching its central mysteries across an uneven middle stretch that too often mistook delay for suspense. Around the midpoint of the season, I started wondering if the people who ran into the poisoned air during the premiere's opening flashback had the right idea. Episodes that should have deepened the characters instead became exercises in carefully rationing information, leaving the story going in circles with the same ideas instead of moving forward. Even so, I never stopped admiring the world the series had built. The production design remains among the best on television, making every level of the silo feel tangible and lived in, while the expanding mythology continues to suggest a fascinating world beyond its walls. The ambition was never in question. The momentum was. The season regains some of its footing in the closing chapters, when the focus finally shifts from protecting secrets to exploring the people burdened by them. Rebecca Ferguson certainly hasn't been the problem, and Tim Robbins gives Bernard an unsettling composure that makes him one of the season's most compelling figures. Steve Zahn also proves to be a generally welcome addition, transforming Solo from a mystery into a genuinely affecting character. By the finale, Silo finally begins delivering on promises it had spent much of the season postponing, but those stronger closing hours can't completely outweigh the inconsistency that came before them. Season 2 remains an ambitious but uneven chapter—even if it too often forgot to give me reasons to stay invested in the journey through it.

- Pete Martinez8 de septiembre de 2025I liked the first season, even though it was a bit slow, but the second season was just boring! Don’t know if a third season is planned but I think I am throwing in the towel on this series!
