Un equipo de científicos es enviado a investigar una extraña esfera situada en una nave sumergida en el océano. Pero una terrible tormenta les sorprende.
- benjami716112 de septiembre de 2026I have had it with these motherfucking sea-snakes on this motherfucking submersible! Not the best Crichton movie adaptation but that’s a high bar.
- Bogenbroom9 de agosto de 2026I've always quite enjoyed Sphere. The last quarter does lose some cohesiveness, but as a whole it has a nice story, strong acting, and interesting shifts in character dynamics throughout.
- PhysicalMedia4Life23 de julio de 2026"Sphere" to me is The Abyss meets Event Horizon meets Arrival.
- Travis Belisle11 de julio de 2026Underrated film that was a fairly good adaptation of Michael Crichton's novel!
- tomdudgeon24 de abril de 2026So, they hold hands and just forget. Hmmm.
- turbob2412 de abril de 2026Am I truly alone? I thought this was a criminally underrated movie... Like a more intellectual Event Horizon, fascinating premise, great acting, atmosphere, soundtrack, ending.... The effects are great (Although I admit the 'monster' reveal was rather underwhelming.) Real tension, real room to imagine, I really like it and come back to it often. It seems it suffered from being too often compared to other vaguely similar movies, judged in a vacuum I thought it was magical. (yes I realise I compared it to Event Horizon... sue me)
- Alexander Doughty10 de julio de 2025A top notch movie that felt right at home with the amount of thrill and suspense it grabs you with. Would recommend it to anyone who’s never seen it before. I’m a fan of 80’s and early 90’s sci-fi. 5/5 would watch again.
- Richard9 de noviembre de 2025This one’s a deep sea fever dream. A team of scientists, including Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone and Samuel L. Jackson, descend 1,000 feet below the ocean to investigate a mysterious alien sphere. What follows is part Event Horizon, part The Abyss and part “what if your worst thoughts came to life and tried to kill you?” The cast is stacked, the sets are moody and claustrophobic and the tension builds like a pressure gauge about to blow. The sphere itself? A shiny, golden enigma that reflects your fears and maybe your subconscious. Or maybe it’s just trolling everyone. Hard to say. The plot spirals into psychological sci-fi territory, with reality bending, minds unraveling and a finale that feels like a philosophical shrug. But there’s something hypnotic about it. It’s the kind of movie that doesn’t quite land but still sticks with you like a dream you half remember and can’t shake. It flopped, sure. But it’s got that late 90's sci-fi charm: ambitious, weird and just self serious enough to be fascinating. And that cast? Worth it for the underwater banter alone.
- Mairi Krausse24 de diciembre de 2025Very plausible story, and well played.
