I’m not the biggest Poison Ivy fan (I think she’s a bit overrated), but Uma Thurman is just not good and nowhere near as good as she could’ve been. As for Mr. Freeze, he’s just a giant joke and is now a meme-fest. Val Kilmer was far from perfect as Batman, but he wasn’t TERRIBLE either, George Clooney however, he has already said enough about how bad he was as Batman. If Joel Schumacher really wanted to make a good continuation to Burton’s movies, he should’ve used a similar style and have Burton be more involved in my opinion. This is a minor detail but the scenes where they dress up were also weirdly sexualized, like they have literally zoom-ins on boobs and butts. Even though this film is terrible, I still find it very entertaining and it’s worth your time if you just want campy fun
- Zokkiie16 de marzo de 2026Mr. Freeze, one of Batman’s best and most underrated villains, gets treated like a joke, and it’s pure blasphemy. Such a cool, chilling character is wasted on cheesy lines and a costume that looks like a rejected action figure. You can practically see the potential being stomped on with every scene. The rest of the movie keeps the same energy—way too flashy, totally over-the-top acting, and dialogue that makes you groan instead of laugh. Action scenes exist, but they feel hollow, and the tone bounces all over the place. It’s loud, messy, exhausting, and somehow manages to be both ridiculous and boring at the same time. A complete trainwreck that’s hard to enjoy for any reason.

If you're going to have Arnold Friggin' Schwarzenegger in your movie... at least make him Bane. The real Bane... not the goofy one they put in this movie. The Bane that broke Batman financially, mentally then literally by breaking his back. If Warner Bros had stuck to storytelling rather than selling toys at McDonald's this movie could have been great.
