After Lincoln and his mother go to the shop, they find a strange ghost-like creature who threatens to kill them. Later on, in the news, the events are explained. Lincoln goes to school and the camera changes to night where the 'Demon" is revealed. The next day, a professor shows inventions like an exploding wall to the demon, but he kills the professor. The next night, the demon goes on a rampage killing many people including Lincoln's parents. In the morning, Lincoln and others are shown mourning friends and family that have died but then the demon teleports Lincoln to him and whispers, "You're next.". Later, Lincoln is shown reporting the events to a policeman but he doesn't believe him. Sad, Lincoln goes on a swing and his mother, in ghost form, says, "It's okay". The demon soon appears and tries to battle Lincoln but his mom tells him to use the exploding wall on him and that kills the demon. We are taken to multiple years later, where Lincoln is playing hide-and-seek with his children but the demon appears and says, "hello."
