Detective Hayakawa wonders about the cause of death and asks his nephew Saburo, a member of the Cryonics Research Institute, about his findings. Soon after, Saburo's father dies in the same condition. Saburo suspects his father's mistress, Saori. Saori was an ice woman who has lived for 400 years.
