Directed by Arthur Maria RabenaltPaul Warkentin hasn't heard anything from his father for a very long time. When Paul decided to go off to Berlin to work in a publishing house instead of taking over the family farm in West Prussia, even after passing his exams at agricultural school, this led to a break in his relationship with his father and there's been silence ever since. Now, Paul has received the news that his father has died and he must return to his hometown to take over the estate and run it.
