Between Men and the Gods
Directed by Eiji UchidaOf the two men one is a doctor and the other is a a manga author. Of the two friends one is rich and the other is poor. They fall for the same woman who works at a fish and aquarium shop. The doctor gives up and the woman and the writer marry. The husband, however, has an affair and maintains a mistress. His wife feels uncared for. The doctor makes a move for his friend's wife.
