Nearly perfect, if it wasn't for Pacino's laughable attempt to appear intimidating I would probably give it 5 stars, everyone else is perfect and all due respect to him, but his performance was comically stupid and his stature didn't help add to the needed threat he should have imposed - apparently he intended his character to be high on cocaine all the time, which would make sense, but they cut that out, that storyline may have helped make his characters manic performance more convincing.
Regardless, its the action we come for and it doesn't disappoint, its visceral and feels real, like most good films in the 90's - the practical effects and real sets / on location shoots make all the difference.
