An excellent addition to the sci-fi body horror genre, this film feels like a worthy spiritual progeny to Cronenberg’s work. If you appreciate unsettling, intelligent genre fare it’s right up your alley. Going into this movie you know exactly what’s gonna happen. However, the strength of the performances and the storytelling makes this a compelling watch .
I’m thrilled Hollywood still takes chances on relatively low-budget, adult-oriented films like this.
