It's not quite as bad as a lot of the Fanboys make it out to be, in fact it's one of the better of this crop of remakes, but at the end of the day it's still pretty bland. There's a few fun, memorable moments, but overall it takes itself to seriously and has an unnecessarily grim tone. It's not particularly bad, it's not particularly good, it's just mediocre.
