If this is how movies are supposed to be, then sign me the eff up!
So glad I watched this, it's like finding something very special, without knowing what you are getting into...and enjoying every second of it (see: Everything Everywhere All at Once, World of Tomorrow, or T-34)
This movie gets its hooks into you from the start and never let’s go. I don’t know how many cinematic genres are represented in this film…like, a lot…but it just fucking works.
I do appreciate the intermission though, since this is an emotional rollercoaster and is kind of draining, but in the best possible way (well, second-best maybe… wink 💦)
Definitely a gateway film for Bollywood/Tollywood cinema.
If someone tries to complain about the CGI or runtime, tell them to go piss up a rope.
If you embrace the absurdity, you’re gonna have a good time because at the center of the pic is a great story that is overflowing with heart…and it’s pretty effing funny too.
