Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi
Jedi Master-in-hiding Luke Skywalker unwillingly attempts to guide young hopeful Rey in the ways of the force, while Leia, former princess turned general, attempts to lead what is left of the Resistance away from the ruthless tyrannical grip of the First Order.

This is by far my favorite Star Wars sequel trilogy film. It is inventive, takes risks, and advances the story in unpredictable ways. I also like the theme that force powers reside in everyone - not just the elites we had in the prior films. Is it perfect? Not by any means.
I would have liked for Luke to have been less of a Hermit than how he was initially portrayed. The side quest with Finn also felt like it was there just to give his character and Rose something to do. This film would have been better if Johnson was given both this film and the final one IMHO.
