I’m usually fine with just getting dumped in a world and going along for the ride, but I really think this film could have used a bit more world building. We are left wondering if the entire world is this fucked up, or if we just ended up in the camp of religious weirdos.
The action scenes were really well done. Not over edited and everything felt like it had weight to it. I really like the post truck scene fight.
I hope no one tells that poor baby how its mom reacted when she saw how ugly it was. That would not be good for your self esteem.
