Giving this a solid 4 stars, it was entertaining, tied into the larger Lord of the Rings universe, and told a fresh story. Unlike a *certain* prequel series we won't mention in this review.
Am I mad that elephants died? Eh. Am I happy to learn how Helm's Deep got its name? Definitely.
