Follows troubled youth Chan Lok-kwun as he accidentally enters the Walled City, discovers the order amidst its chaos, and learns important life lessons along the way. In the Walled City, he becomes close friends with Shin, Twelfth Master and AV. Under the leadership of Tornado, they resist against the invasion of villain Mr. Big in a series of fierce battles. Together, they vow to protect the safe haven that is Kowloon Walled City.

Starts off pretty well with a good action scene but the movie gets laughably bad as time goes on. I don’t mind unrealistic physics as long as it’s used sparingly to give some flair but it continues to get goofy af. The character and world building for the first hour is good, I really liked the depictions of the cramped walled city, but it unfortunately leads nowhere since the crucial backstory that’s dropped in the middle is so half-baked and lame. Then they add a villain who has “spirit power” that makes him completely invulnerable to physical damage which is the worst and most unrealistic part of the film. I mentally checked out at that point, just continued watching it for the action which did have some crazy moments but was ultimately a turn off.
