Chappie
In the near future, crime is patrolled by a mechanized police force. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself.

My rating for Chappie used to be higher. I think the more I actually work with real-time AI, the less I appreciate the cinematic fantasy. Plus, I’ve never liked the directors abysmal point of view of South Africa. You can put this, District 9 and Elysium together and you won’t know where one film ends and the other begins. But he did Gran Turismo. I liked that movie.
