This is an all star cast. The performances were some of the best I've seen in a long time from a lot of these actors. Both Miles Teller and Taylor Kitsch were fantastic. They are really starting to grow on me. Josh Brolin as the leader is everything you want him to be. This film does a great job showcasing how much of a "family" this crew is. From the witty banter to the little moments between friends it's all accounted for. My only drawback is that it's a little long at times, but at the day I didn't mind learn about these firefighters lives. I found this to really powerful and makes you think about things that I'm sure many never even considered. The way fire works and how these heroes risk their lives to stop this is a powerful thing. I strongly recommend this movie!
