My frustration with the show continues. They've robbed Dr. Halsey and pretty much everyone in the UNSC of their depth, turning them from complex characters with complex motivations to cartoonish villains. It's all completely unneccesary. With 37 novels base in the universe there's no need to be injecting all these out-of-nowhere subplots, or twisting characters away from what they've consistently been.
