When Willy Wonka decides to let five children into his chocolate factory, he decides to release five golden tickets in five separate chocolate bars, causing complete mayhem. The tickets start to be found, with the fifth going to a very special boy, called Charlie Bucket. With his Grandpa, Charlie joins the rest of the children to experience the most amazing factory ever. But not everything goes to plan within the factory.

This is a great reimagining of the classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie that not only brings it up to date with modern graphics and cinematic techniques but also takes a few liberties that expand on Willy Wonka and his lore a bit. While I miss the original numbers that the Oompas sang, the new songs are great in their own right while striving to teach the same lessons. The fantastic nature of the factory itself is still there and in stunning quality this time around! If you loved the original, this will be not just a trip down memory lane but even more of a reason to love the franchise.
