A voyeuristic Vietnam veteran sees a way to turn his vice into a profession as there's people who will pay good money for lurid candid pictures and films. After this endeavour doesn't lead anywhere productive he falls in with a radical theatre troupe and starts to develop some revolutionary thoughts.

Interesting movie by De Palma, one of his first. He was clearly still experimenting and the result is mixed. De Niro, also in one of his early movies, does an outstanding job, offering a glimpse of the immense talent he has. Overall, a so-so movie that is better suited for the fans of the director and De Niro.
