While struggling to adapt "The Orchid Thief," by Susan Orlean, Kaufman's life spins from pathetic to bizarre. Excellent meta-movie about a screenwriter struggling to adapt a book into a film. Nic Cage as usual delivers an energetic yet - when needed - nuanced performance. The storytelling is compelling and the cast great. Recommended watch
