Very basic story, no investment in characters, no smart dialogue or no meaningful themes or ethical/moral dilemmas. Any adversities conveniently solved with little effort, trials or heartache. This is apalling.
Dan Stevens does his best with a bad script, others have nothing to work with. I can't believe I crave some melodrama after watching this hollow advertisement for CGI. The CGI and graphics are amazing and clearly this movie is a prime example that no matter how much glitter your put on a shit, it is still a shit.
