This movie captures the harsh reality of dating in today’s world—where love is buried beneath expectations, materialism, and financial demands. It reminds us that love isn't about money or superficial checklists, which is why so many people stay single well into their 40s.
True love is sacrifice. It’s compromise, understanding, and choosing someone for who they are—not what they can give you. I found myself biting my lip in frustration hearing some of the “requirements” these women had—viewing men as cash cows rather than partners.
Thankfully, the main character eventually realizes that none of those things matter, though I wish the film delivered that message with a bit more clarity. Still, it gets the point across: modern relationships are suffering because we’ve lost sight of what love really is.
If you're dating—or struggling to understand your partner—I recommend watching this with them. Maybe it’ll help both of you reset those absurd expectations and remember what love should be about.
