Goin' South
Due to the lack of men after the Civil War, a western town allows a young bachelorette who lives alone to save a thief from hanging by marrying him. They must deal with his old gang, the Sheriff, the railroad, a gold mine, and each other.

A great, underrated western from Jack Nicholson. He's very funny (why does he sound like he's got a nasty cold all the way through this?), but the supporting cast are also brilliant. Steenburgen, DeVito, Belushi, Lloyd, Cartwright, all brilliant. The story has some great moments, and has a wicked sense of humour. Favourite part? Right at the beginning when his horse quits on him!
