This one was produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, the same guys who gave us Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. It is based on Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth books and follows Richard, Kahlan, and Zedd on a big fantasy quest filled with magic, prophecy, and some pretty great fight scenes. You can definitely feel Raimi’s touch in the mix of action, adventure, and a little camp. It only lasted two seasons, but I really enjoyed it and think it deserved more.
