The Last of Us (the original video game) is one of the greatest games to come out on the PlayStation console. So when a live action show was announced fans were psyched. And honestly the first few episodes were pretty true to the game of the most part. But towards the end, the show becomes more concerned with virtue signaling than adapting one of the more intense parts of the game. It’s because of that latter part of the first season that show takes a nose dive. The casting is alright, the practical effects of the clickers is well done. It just starts to stray too far from the game into late season of The Walking Dead, where fans had given up on that show too. Holding out hope for Last of Us season 2 though.
