Disclaimer*** Seeing this after Madam Webb for the first time might make me little more gracious to this movie.
I’ll give the complements first, Jared Leto and Matt Smith are good in this film. Far better than other cast in Webb. Also this is a sloppy movie but it still felt more thought out than the other.
Now for the bad. The cgi. I couldn’t make out shit during the final battle. Also the slowmo stuff was very lame. Also Matt Smith vampire form looked bad. The story also feels so choppy, for example he put a little girl in a coma and she was never seen again! Also I was dying laughing at the part where Morbius is on the run and flys up 30 stories to evade the cops, just for cop to appear on roof top 30 seconds later. It’s dumb, but almost watchable dumb. This still further along the feeling like…. What are we doing here Sony. If another bad guy “anti-hero” movie ends up fighting the same version of his powers again I think we got to call it quits.
