Aged like the finest of wine. Psycho is yet another one of those films that I managed to go 26 years without watching. Now that I have finally got around to it, I can see just how many other things were inspired by Psycho. The cinematography is honestly beautiful. It really does feel like a film, I appreicate that probably sounds silly but It's true. The story is very simple by todays standards but I imagine it was a lot more impactful at the time. As mentioned previously, Psycho looks amazing and the 4K bluray is no exception. Psycho might be the best black and white 4k I've ever seen. The audio is.... a product of it's time that has held up pretty well.
