woke crud, truly a product of it's time - certainly has heavy handing helping of the "message" which is a shame because it had potential to be something great and timeless, now it will always smell of the woke era. Also how did his daughter get whiter as she got older? thats some magic they didn't explain - weird casting or are we supposed to pretend we don't notice things like that?
