Erotic neo-noir thriller with Kevin Bacon, Colin Firth, and Alison Lohman that leans heavy on the sex and nudity….and is all the better for it. Lohman is an investigative reporter digging into the sudden split of a famous comedy duo (Bacon and Firth) around the time that a dead girl was found in their hotel suite. The story gets a bit convoluted and has an unfortunate explainer ending scene where one of the characters explains to the “audience” what really happened, but it’s a rather enjoyable watch, if a bit sleazy. If you want to see Colin Firth try to get cheeky with Kevin Bacon’s behind during a ménage à trois, though, then I highly recommend.
