Alright, this show is growing on me. I kind of expected this to be Diet Archer, but it actually does a great job being its own show. There certainly are some similarities between the two, but Grimsburg's take on investigative work is almost as refreshing as Archer's take on secret agent field work.
Grimsburg has surprisingly witty writing that has caught me off guard almost every episode so far. It genuinely feels more like something from Adult Swim instead of FOX, It knows how to use shock comedy rather well instead of just as a crutch, and I'm happy to hear there's already a third season in the works.
