Seven Samurai
De syv samuraier
Vi befinder os i 1500-tallets Japan. Bønderne i en lille by er trætte af hele tiden at blive overfaldet og plyndret af banditter. Byens vise mænd råder dem til at rekruttere nogle samuraier - professionelle krigere - der kan beskytte dem mod overfaldene. Det varer ikke længe, før syv meget forskellige samuraier har stillet sig til disposition.

Lets be honest. If you are reading this, you probably don't need me to tell you Seven Samurai is a good movie.
What I will say is it surprised me with how much of the humour still lands and how much I liked the characters.
The real question is: Do I prefer it to Battle Beyond the Stars? I'll leave that one as a mystery ;)
